FAQ

The purpose of reseller packages is for the reseller to provide support to their clients. Our role is to supply support to our resellers and ensure the infrastructure is in working order. If you would like us to provide support to your client, they need to sign up for a web hosting package directly with us.  

If a reseller's client contacts us requesting support or access, we will always refer them back to the reseller and contact you as a courtesy to let you know that a client has reached out to us.

SpamAssassin is included as part of your reseller hosting which is accessible through cPanel. We also offer SpamExperts premium filtering which you can purchase licenses for via the portal at $2 exGST per month per domain. As we aim to ensure our reseller plans stay affordable, we do not offer this by default and give you the option to purchase as an add-on.

Yes, we can configure your white labelled nameservers for you. If you have purchased or transferred your domain to us, we can set these up. If your domain is registered with another registrar, we would need the login details of the registrar so we can set these up for you. 

We host all our equipment in the Next DC Datacentre in Malaga (P1) and in the Next DC Datacentre (P2) in the city. We are not resellers for any other hosting provider.

We maintain 6 hourly backups for our Reseller cPanel Web Hosting which are retained for 21 days, with our servers and backups are stored in separate data centers.

We use the popular JetBackups plugin for cPanel. You can restore your full cPanel account or recover individual or multiple files/folders, MySQL databases, DNS zone files, SSL certificates or email accounts, with the time to restore your data being as little as a few seconds depending on the data being restored. You can manage all of this yourself by logging into your cPanel and we are happy to provide assistance if you need help.

If you would like additional backups done, please contact us to discuss your options.

Unfortunately, Perth Web Hosting cannot provide access to the migration tool in WHM to resellers as this tool has to run from the root level. We are happy to perform a migration for you however, and there is no charge to do so. Simply lodge a support ticket with us and provide the following information:

  • Domain Name
  • cPanel Username and Password
  • When to perform the migration

Please Note: The account must be an existing cPanel account, and the reseller is responsible for updating any DNS and nameserver records. Charges will apply for any manual migrations and DNS changes.
