Virtual Private Servers
Our virtual private server hosting service is built on a scalable, multi-tenant enterprise infrastructure. It provides access to a secure, enterprise-grade cloud environment with numerous built-in features to ensure high availability and performance, and full resource and load isolation.
A virtual server is an ideal solution for businesses that want more control and the flexibility to change the server on demand instantly – all at a low cost.
Note – Due to licensing agreements, we do not allow BYO Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Editions. For all Microsoft licensing, please contact us for pricing. Gaming and illegal activities are prohibited on our network.
Our equipment is hosted on enterprise hardware kept at a local data centre in Perth metro. We have a secondary data centre in the Perth CBD.
We use enterprise storage drives for both fast storage (SSD) and magnetic storage. Need a simple storage platform? Choose magnetic. If you want fast website and database hosting, then we recommend fast storage.
Perth Web Hosting platforms and network have redundancy connections offering a minimum data speed of 1Gbps with connections to multiple providers and the WAIX network. We also deliver an uptime guarantee of > 99.99%.
All virtual servers include a free complimentary nightly server snapshot for 14 days. You may request an additional 14-day offsite file retention add-on.
We support a wide range of operating systems, including Centos, CoreOS, Debian, Fedora, FreeBSD, and Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016.
Perth Web Hosting also supplies third-party software licenses for popular control panels, including cPanel, Plesk, CloudLinux and cPGuard.
All virtual private servers come with complimentary monitoring. This means we are notified by email and SMS if anything happens to your server. We can also set up different sensors to ensure we identify any issues before they become a problem.
We can monitor over 250 different types of metrics and can set different rules for different services. We can monitor services such as:
- Disk Usage
- CPU Usage
- Load Average
- VM Swapping
- Disk IOPS
- Network Traffic
