If you have recently signed up with us and have selected assisted transfer during the signup process, please fill in the following details to help us migrate your website over. The more information provided, the quicker we can migrate your website over. You may need to contact your current provider for some information. Please ensure you have the correct details to avoid migration delays.
Please let us know your current provider's details. If they have any control panel (such as cPanel or Plesk), please include those details too.If your provider cannot supply this info to you, please request your current provider to take a backup copy of the website and upload it to a file-sharing site (such as Dropbox, Wetransfer or Onedrive) and email you the link so we can download your site onto our platform.
If you are running WordPress, please let us know your current WordPress login details. Your current log in details must have administration access so we can install a migration plugin. Please Note: If cpanel details have been provided (in the previous screen), it is not necessary to supply this information, however, the more details we have, the eaiser it will be for us to migrate your website.
If you are choosing to transfer your domain to Perth Web Hosting, we require the domain password. If you don't have this password, you can do the following
1) If the domain is a .au domain, you can request a password by going to Afilias AU domain recovery. If the registrant email address is not in your current email address, we would need the registrant email address to be in your current account. Sometimes you can update this by logging into your current domain registrar member's portal and updating this. If your domain is not a .au domain, you may be able to retrieve the domain password by logging into your current registrar members portal or submitting a support ticket to your current registrar.
